Wow!! I've been out of the womb for 8 months now and things are starting to get exciting! It was just Halloween and yesterday mommy, daddy and Randy set up the Christmas tree! I have no idea what Christmas is yet, but I like the lights, and soon I will be sitting under the tree opening Christmas Gifts!
Lately I've been having fun terrorizing the cat. My crawling speed has picked up, and mommy and daddy like to play the "I'm gonna get you game". They slap their hands on the floor look at me and say "I'm gonna get you" and I scream, laugh and crawl away.
I also have another jumperoo that mommy picked up at a garage sale. Now I have one in the living room and in my room.
I also love talking! I babble and say all sorts or sounds. I've said momma before, but I only say it selectively, and not when mommy or daddy ask me to say it. I say it when I'm upset and I want mommy to feed me usually. If mommy or daddy asks me to say momma, I just say dadda instead. Ha Ha!
My Milestones!
March 9th, 2009:
Today I came home from the hospital!
March 22nd, 2009:
Slept in my crib in my room for the very first time!
March 25th, 2009:
Saw my Aunt Kim for the first time. She was sick so she couldn't come see me in the hospital.
March 30th, 2009:
Had my first bath in the pink tub we got to bring home from the hospital!
April 5th: Mommy started pumping her breastmilk!
April 7th, 2009:
Started being able to lift my head up during tummy time!
Also started drinking out of a bottle! Yay! No nipple confusion!
April 15th, 2009:
Gave mommy and daddy my first real smile on their anniversary!
April 20th, 2009:
Spent my first 8 hours away from Mommy while she went back to work. Nana watched me.
May 1st, 2009:
Started drinking formula at night before bed.
May 6th, 2009:
Started cooing when mommy and daddy talk to me!
May 10th, 2009:
Just discovered today that my feet are attached to me and I can make them move! Been staring at them all morning!
May 24th, 2009:
Today I used my arms to help hold my head up and I did it for almost a minute!
June 7th: Played in my walker for the first time! (way too big for me) ;) Exactly 3 months old today! :)
July 3rd: I can roll over! I have rolled from my back to my stomach and from my stomach to my back through out the last week. This morning I rolled from my back to my stomach and then back! I can do it!! I am getting mobile!
July 3rd: My first time in a pool! I loved splashing!
July 11th: I Giggled!! I giggled when mommy tickled me! I have only been cooing and making noises until now.
July 17th: I tried rice cereal today....but after a few days, mommy and daddy have determined I'm not ready to eat with a spoon yet.
August 11th: Mommy felt my first tooth. Just a little pokiness thru the gums!
August 13th: The tip of my tooth is now clearly visible!
August 19th: I'm able to hold my bottle for myself when I'm on trips with mommy, or when Mommy and Daddy want to eat dinner...I can feed myself.
August 24th: Second tooth now protruding next to the first one on the bottom.
August 26th: Said first word! "num nums". He made a chomping motion with his mouth and said "num nums" what I always say when I feed him rice cereal. (24 weeks old)
September 1st: Can sit unassisted for about 30 seconds at a time!
September 2nd: Sat with daddy unassisted for 3 minutes!
September 3rd: Jaydon tries his first solid, squash!
September 19th: Jaydon officially started crawling for long distances across the floor! We did a live feed of it! (28 weeks)
September 25th: Daddy had to lower the crib because mommy walked in my room and I was on my knees hanging on to the railing. (29 weeks)
September 30th: my first top tooth emerged.
